Can this hotend be saved

I had a printing mishap and ended up having a huge blob of filament dried around my hotend. The 4 wires broke off along with the blob. Do I have to buy the whole $70USD assembled hotend, or should I be able to fix it another way or by buying only piece(s) of the assembly? I've never had to replace any of these parts so I don't know how or where the wires attach. Thanks!

Hello, welcome in the Prusaforum!

You have to remove the hotend in any case and try to remove the melted plastic with a hot air gun. The heating cartridge and the thermistor have to be bought new, maybe also heaterblock and heatbreak. If everything goes well, no extruder plastic are destroyed. I can't see that so right on the one photo.
But before you buy new extruder plastic parts, I would consider installing a Bondtech. Spare parts are available from Prusa or other distributors.
