Bulging bed when heated

Hello
I have a problem with warped heatbed on my MK3S+ (upgraded from original MK3). Quite a few people here seem to be having a similar problem but what is bugging me more is that the bed starts bulging up in the middle when heated.

Here are graphs from taken by Octoprint Bed Level Vizualization plugin cold and after being heated for a few minutes to 100C.
Cold:

Hot:

Have anyone experienced a similar temperature dependent warping?
I contemplate buying a new heatbed + Y carriage but it's quite pricey.

All heatbeds will change shape when heated. But you can try to unscrew the 8 screws that hold the heatbed and heat the bed. And tighten them when the bed is a hot. Maybe this will release some of the tension in the bed.

Solution

I've applied the nylock mod and it solved the problem.

z calibration

I still don't think the nylock mod is needed, in your case a simple z calibration probably will fix it.

If the bed, as in your pictures, seems to be higher or lower on left or right side (bed tilted left or right) then most likely one of the z stepper motors have lost a couple of steps.
This is easily fixed by redoing a z calibration.

Also note that the bed level visualizer plugin for octoprint may need to have one of the axis flipped to display properly.
Try by putting a small piece of paper under one of the corner and check if the change is in the correct corner.
Took me some time to figure this out and was chasing problem in the wrong place.

.

@Tobbe I've not only redone Z calibration but also redone XYZ calibration and even tried to reassemble the whole Y carriage.
Only the second reassembly with nylock mode helped (along with another XYZ recalibration and then nylock adjustments of course).
