Bed Levelling going off the bed?

Hi All

All of a sudden my Mk3S has started to send the bed right to the front (almost covering the control panel) when finishing a print and then when starting a new print the bed levelling seem to start almost from the middle of the bed and of course when it tries to do the last row of checking it cant go that far off the bed so it just grinds and then gives up and goes back to start the print.  The printing works fine luckily but anyone have any idea on why this would be doing this?  I seems to have started roughly around the time I upgrader to 3.90 but latest 3.91 has not changed it.

Thanks in advance.

cheers...Allan

Sticky bearings can cause stepper stalls that will do this. Are you using stealth or normal mode? Stealth prevents stall detection: so run it in normal to check for these.

Normal mode.  dont seem to have any issues with the print etc.

Try resetting the printer (full clear) and re-running the basic calibration steps. Could be the printer has lost it's brains (NV ram lost a bit). While it is checking the home location (hammering the stops), make sure it is getting all the way left, and all the way back and isn't being stopped too soon. Generally, a cable tie on the extruder, or a wild cable under the bed (or even a bearing u-bolt that isn't snug can run the frame..
