Avoid solid infill
Hi,
I quite often get small areas with solid infill along the perimeters. They are unnecessary and makes the printer shaking. I have tried many different settings, infill, solid infill, top solid infill, support material and gap fill set to 0 mm/s, 0 % infill, no support and different infill pattern but no matter what it is still there.
Is there a way to get rid of this solid infill?

I received a custom printer to help with face shield printing.
But after its configuration, any infill percentage leads to a solid (100% ) infill.
No matter what pattern I choose, any density greater than 0 (zero) returns a solid, even with the top and bottom layers in zero.
I replicated all (tab) configs from Prusa MK3 to test: same results.
(and now I also don't know how to exclude custom printers of the PrusaSlicer)

Assuming you are using Prusa slicer save your project as.... from the file menu. That will save the model as well as all your settings to a .3mf file. Zip that file up and post it here. That way people can debug what you have much easier.
profiles for printer settings, filaments and printers can be deleted using the delete icon.

You are more likely to get help by starting a new thread with a descriptive subject line than reviving one that's been inactive for over a year. Necro-posting is unproductive.
In order to help with this specific issue, you need to zip up a project file with your part and settings and attach it to a response using the button below. Failing that, at least provide some pics so we can see what you're referring to.

Thank you, but I just discover the problem:
by default, the PrusaSlicer puts the Solid Infill Threshold Area in 70 mm², when a custom printer is added.
I hadn't seen that.
When I set it to zero, the problem vanishes.
When I reply here, the intention was to concentrate the subject on one topic, which helps who, as I was, is searching for a solution. But I will accept your advice for the next doubts. Thank you again.
