Z adjust not saving randomly

Had a couple of occasions where Z height has been wrong despite being fine on previous day? Had to reset using live Z adjust. PINDA is not loose, probing pre print works fine but first layer could be low or high. Any ideas?

Have you run the firmware Live-Z routine to completion at least once? It saves a flag indicating completion.

Yes, repeated the first time it did it. This has only happened since update to firmware rev 3_9_0_3421.
