X offset problem

Hello,

Since some times I have an x problem as you can see on photo.

I print a lot of objects and the problem appears between 7 and 10cms.

The offset is just located on x.

Do you have an idea?

Julien

RE: X offset problem

Check the tension of your X belt.

If that seems OK loosen it and check the x drive pulley has not loosened, this can happen over time if the grub screws are not aligned with the flat first.  Also check the idler pulley - is it crooked? does it move freelly?  Then clean and lubricate the smooth rods before retensioning.  Make your next print:

https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/46639-tension-meter-for-the-gt2-belts-of-i3-mk3s-or-prus

It MUST be printed in Prusament PETG or the spring tension will be wrong.

What filament are you printing and what is the goop all over the bed?

Cheerio,

Maybe it is a good idea to check over your printer.

Diem has some good points to start with.

But I see one of the screws holding the left z motor is loose. Maybe there are more.

Hello,

Thank you for your help Diem, I will test this solution.

I disassembled all parts and replace z belt motor part. I'm printing belt tensionner.
