What spares (If any) are included with MK3S+ Kit

I had a search but could not find the answer to this.

I am waiting on my MK3S to arrive, and have been giving some thought to essential spares like nozzle, bowden tube etc.

Can someone tell me what is included with the Kit, do you get any spares?

Finally, I have some brand new nozzles left over from my Ender 3, will these fit the MK3 or is it recommended only to use MK3 specific nozzles? Is there a difference between manufacturers for nozzle thread and dimensions?

Many Thanks

Tank you very much!...

The kit comes with spare magnets, spare screws, spare nuts, mostly the little parts that are easy to drop and automatically roll down the nearest heat register on the floor, never to be seen again.

Nozzle - the hot end is an E3d not end - so any of the nozzles that will fit an E3d hot end should fit.  Don't know about other nozzle threads etc.

High wear parts include:  Nozzle fan shroud.  You should order an extra of those as they do break from time to time.  Also, think about ordering spare steel sheets - it's nice for being able to take one off, put it aside to cool, and pop another one on to print faster round trip time.  Until you tear your first PETG hole in your smooth PEI sheet, you will be glad you have a spare while you learn about Windex and PETG.

There are quite a few extra nut & screws, also some of the really tiny components, especially the sizes you might drop during the build.

It depends which nozzles you have ... compare them to the nozzle in the kit; the really important measure is the length of the thread.  It must be long enough to seat fully internally whilst leaving a tiny gap externally.  Get this wrong and you can expect extrusion problems.

Prusa compatible nozzles have 7.5mm long thread.

Beware nozzles intended for other machines that have a 6mm long thread.

E3D & compatible nozzles have a flat area around the opening, others do not, they will still work but quality will suffer.

Cheerio,
