Shipping

HI all,

For those of you in the U.S. that have received your printer, did you have any additional import fees from CBP that were imposed on your purchase or did the shipping/tax paid when the machine was ordered work sufficiently?

Thanks

Re: Shipping

If your order total was under $800 (this including shipping/tax and what ever else was included in the order) I do not believe there is any import fees applied.

A guy here on the forum from Minnesota in the USA bought a kit and he paid to Prusa about $798.00 USD. That was the total cost and paid no other fees.

What was the result?? Did you have to pay any fees on top of the $110 shipping? I am hoping no, because their site says shipping is $70, but my shipping states $113.00 'shipping and taxes', but I live in Oregon, and we have 0 taxes so I am not sure what the extra near $50 is for lol. I am assuming the importation fees.

I am about to order an assembled kit, and I have always been burned by UPS and ordering international. Looking at their website it looks like Worldwide express saver shouldn't have ANY import fees even if over $800. But it there are fees, and it is more than say $40 I will just go with DHL because they never charge me any fees lol. And it is only another $45 for the DHL option.

Where does the site say $70 shipping for an assembled printer?

All I see I see is kit shipping at $70

"Prusa i3 kit shipping:
USA: 3 days UPS Express Saver ~$70"
