Re: Ship Date Tracking Spreadsheet

From the spreadsheet it appears to me that they are doing very well with their shipment rate. They were nice enough to give estimates of when each week's shipments might go out. It wasn't a promise, just an estimate. So far, they hoped to get weeks LW, 39 and 40 started for the kits and week LW for assembled units. If I counted right, there are 184 orders in the spreadsheet during that timeframe that they had thought might ship and 166 that have at least received a tracking notice. The latter includes 7 assembled units that they didn't estimate would start shipping until tomorrow. So that implies they've at least prepared 90% of the number of units they estimated could have shipped by now. The numbers could be better than that if some people had their unit shipped but didn't update the spreadsheet. I could see why a week 40 person could think they were behind. If you look at just week 40, only 64% of the possible shipments have had notices sent out. But, if I counted right, that's only 16 week 40 units in the spreadsheet that were estimated to have started shipping that haven't received a notice yet. So it really looks good to me.

As for any production issues, the only one I've seen mentioned are "broken thermistors". Thermistors are inexpensive commodity items so if they've really had an issue with breaking them, I can't see it as being a major issue.

Re: Ship Date Tracking Spreadsheet

This spreadsheet is only a guide given I don't believe every customer who has ordered has bothered to use this spreadsheet to record their details.

I imagine real orders being processed are well above numbers indicated by this sheet.

Re: Ship Date Tracking Spreadsheet

Oh, of course the spreadsheet doesn't include all the orders. If the order numbers are any indication, only a few percent of folks have entered their data. I'm just assuming enough units were entered in the spreadsheet to make the statistics meaningful. If that's correct, it looks to me like their shipping estimates have been quite good to this point.

Re: Ship Date Tracking Spreadsheet

IMHO they are (a bit) behind , i ordered October 8 , and my status (order status) is still "payment accepted".
initially/estimated my ordering week shipment has started From December 18, .
So they are behind..... if its because of trouble they have (thermistor fillament sensor clicking powersupply ) with the first shipments i totally ok with it to receive it a bit later and get the mk3 with good parts.

Re: Ship Date Tracking Spreadsheet

I just added my order info to the list and with this i saw something that probably needs changing. My order (placed today) and the line above my entry both are placed today what would be the start of a new week. I filled in week 53 but i guess this should be 54 if we continue to count from last year.

So if anybody knows for sure, go ahead and edit my entry, so that the list is correct. 😉

UPS are reporting they have collected my kit, so I think shipping has resumed

Ordered an Assembled on 9/27. Received an email on Friday saying my order was being packed. No tracking# yet.

Ordered 10/28 and cancelled 1/8. I swapped my order for a MK2S. Too many bugs and not enough acknowledgement from Prusa. I'll happily buy an upgrade kit, or the MK3, later down the road when all of the bugs get worked out.

I think we should stop adding hypothetical weeks. The biggest issue is that Weeks 53 and 54 literally wouldn't exist. There are 52 weeks in the year. Week 53 should be "Year 2, Week 1", or preferably just "Week 1". Just following the system PR set out..

Personally I think all orders past Week 49 should be switched to "Week 50+" until we get official confirmation on shipping schedule.

Edit: Plus every time someone inserts rows in those charts you're screwing up other parts of the chart :/. Please leave this to the professionals guys.

Oops, I'm one of the line inserter saboteurs... Sowwy 😳

Could you add that as a warning in the link post perhaps as I was merely trying to have it sorted without requiring anyone's time.

It's not a huge issue, so don't feel bad; It just honestly takes me as long to fix the chart as it does just to add it myself :P. It ends up being a little trickier to fix someone elses changes, since I don't know exactly what was done.

Peter and I had already discussed not adding more rows to that part of the chart on cell Orders!N15. You can see the recent comments made to the spreadsheet by clicking the "Comments" button in the top right of Google Sheets.

And for clarity's sake, adding rows below Row 40 or so, on the Orders chart, is not an issue. The issue primarily comes from adding rows to the Stats page. The biggest issue we face right now is accidental vandalism. I've seen a number of Country's switch around now. One order went from "Turkey" to "Germany", and several more went from valid input to invalid input. I can only imagine what other vandalism is occurring that goes unnoticed. It would be great if everyone could close out of the sheet when you aren't actively using it - I suspect most of this vandalism is pets jumping on keyboards.

Too late! I shall feel horrible until I receive my printer

I clearly missed that critical note although it may be less apparent if you work through the app. Which I did. In bed. After a busy day. Late at night... Ok it was mostly me 🙄

I agree. Anything above w49 should be changed to W50+ until we get updated batch info from PR. Also the schedules should match the prusa support pages schedule. We should remove the "guess" rows.

I hope that wasn't me. I just fixed the W50+ stuff, thus did some edits in column B.

Re: Ship Date Tracking Spreadsheet

Mine's been stuck at the clearance agency for almost a week now...

Seems others getting shipped to the USA didn't have this issue recently?

EDIT: the status just changed to "In Transit"! Last update was an export scan from Czech Republic. Hopefully I get it by Friday!

Re: Ship Date Tracking Spreadsheet

It's a serious downer having a tracking number since the 12/21 and still no printer and no response from support. I'd just like to know if it's still with Prusa or if the problem is on the UPS end since the tracking has said it's in clearance since 12/21. I'm hoping it's still in Prusa's hands and will be shipped with hardened linear rods.

I'm in the same boat. I think I also got my tracking on 12/21.

Chat said yesterday that it would ship out this week.
