Rust powder in extruder gears

I have rust powder build up in the little extruder gear housing. not sure where it is from. I have not run any metallic fillament. was able to remove most of it with a neodymium pickup tool, so can confirm it is magnetic.

Re: Rust powder in extruder gears

This is basically from the bondtech gears as far as I can tell. A lot of people have seen some degree of what appears to be rusting or something weird happening. I got a similar effect going on though its more focused on the teeth area. I have not heard of any real fix or way to prevent this from happening and seems like it just been overlooked or not enough has complained about it for prusa to comment on it.

Small amount of white lithium grease (on the teeth only!) alleviates this.
