MK3S R4 and R5 extruder parts compatibility
I'm printing a new extruder-body in ABS as my P.I.N.D.A. mount broke off. I use an enclosure and understand the increased heat can cause this issue. My current extruder is R4, what other parts will I need to print from the R5 set?

Need? Only for the minimum fit, none. But I'm in a similar situation (the fin melted off) and printed both the extruder-body and the extruder-cover (both in the R5 version). I 'm also going to swap out the hotend cooling fan for a stronger (but louder) version.

You only need the body. I didn't realise there was also an updated cover in R5, they must have updated this after the body update but you only need the body if you suffered the PINDA holder melting issue.
