Mk3 Repair service in the US?

Is there anyplace I can ship my Mk3 to get someone competent to fix it.  The #@$%@#$% thermistor has died for the second time in 18 months and it's just to hard for me.   [I also have the MK3S "kit" that is *way*way* too difficult for me, perhaps this same service could install that for me, too].  Thanks!

Click on EShop above, then World. Select the buttons for show and tell, tech support, and Print on demand.

With a little luck, it will show you users is your area and let you contact them. Most of our users are very skilled with Prusa problems.

I honestly think getting a fellow Prusa user to help you is better than shipping your printer off.

Good luck!

I did that and it is enlightening. Thanks!!     Problem is I don't know what to do -- there are Prusa users not far away from me, but I can't see how to contact them.  All I have is a gray circle with a "1" in it but I can't figure out how to contact the person.

The Print on Demand button should let you send them a message. Use it to describe your problem.

If they can Print on Demand - they can probably fix your printer. Check your area for user groups also.

Also - tell us the city you are in. We get a lot of traffic here - and a close one may offer to help.

Thanks -- I found the little "message" icon on the owner's little popup and that got me to what looks like an instant messaging page.  I sent them a message and I guess I'll see how it works out.

Good luck!

I know you just want a printer that works - but a fellow user in your area can be an immense help in getting you over the rough spots.

Quick question about the messaging stuff:  does the "message" notify recipients by email that there's a message waiting?   There is just *one* appropriate printer-owner within about 100 miles of where I am and I've texted them, but I"m wondering if they got a "poke" of some kind and if I'll get a "poke" if/when they respond.  [it's been over a week and no response]

And  circling back to my original inquiry: if the one local owner doesn't pan out, how might I go about sifting through the hundreds of printer owners around the US to find someone capable and willing and able to get my printer working again.

I'd like to change my status on the map from just an owner to a source for printing and support.  I've been through every part of my account info and I can't find any way of changing my status.  Could someone point me in the right direction please?

The last time someone contacted me, I haven't received any email notification. You have to login on this page in order to see the notification/messages.
