Melted Fan Shroud, Extruder Assembly, Leaky Bearing

I was changing out the nozzle on my mk3s and the fan shroud assembly got partially melted.  I plan on replacing it.  Can I replace it with the new mk3+ version?

Additionally the hotend is turned from trying to tighten or loosening the nozzle.  Should the hotend be able to turn?  Should I replace any other parts in the extruder assembly so it won't turn?  I'm planning on changing out the x-axis bearings (because one of them is leaking oil) so replacing parts of the extruder is not much more work.

This thing still prints, but has issues printing small parts.  The oil leak can cause my prints to not stick if I only clean with alcohol.  The alcohol just seems to smear the oil all over the bed.  Prints only stick after I wash with soap and hot water.

Heater block is screwed onto heat break and it will rotate if nozzle isn't tighten properly. And when that's the case, the filament will leak on both sides of heater block.
Tightening the nozzle can be a bit tricky on MK3S, because most of the hotend is surrounded by shroud. So it can easily happen that you rotate the whole hotend with a wrench while you tighten the nozzle and heater block will be turned sideways.

Bearings should be lubricated with grease. Bearings aren't watertight, so very thin layer of grease will be visible on rods -it's supposed to be that way.

There are a number of updated/remixed fan shrouds for the MK3 series out there.

My original, which I assume was ABS from the factory, started drooping so I printed both an original and a remixed one in PC Blend, so I could choose which one fit better when the thing was disassembled, and then chose the remixed one as the replacement.

It has not drooped since.

IF you're planning on replacing the shroud with the Mk3S+ version you might as well print the other new extruder parts.
