Main difference between MK3 and MK3S

I am wondering what are main differences between MK3 and MK3S beside new filament sensor and new extruder build? Is EINSY exactly the same in MK3S as in MK3. The question is driven mainly of fact that I am upgrading extruder casing on my MK3 to the one from MK3S (by official upgrade). If I do that, shoudl I still upgrading firmware on that printer with MK3 firm. or should I using MK3S firm. from that time?

What is included is described in the upgrade package. If you are using the original upgrade package, then the question is point less. You upgraded to MK3S, so you have to use firmware for MK3S as described in the upgrade manual. The reason is the different filament sensor.

The only tangible difference it the filament sensor.  It requires new firmware.

The extruder is marginally different, the new extruder having some issues with printing at higher temps, especially in enclosures. Extruder parts are softening and even melting.  The change also offsets the location of the filament as it passes through the Bondtech gears, and is prone to making flex filament printing more difficult; and causes some "not properly prepared" filament jam when a sharp point or edge digs in to the PTFE below the Bondtech.

There is a different method to tension the Y-Axis belt.
