Firmware Problem

I have a MK3.  Everything was working fine, just got done with a print job.  I noticed a new firmware version so decided to do the upgrade.  I inadvertently installed the firmware for MK3S and actually did a print job.  Then I wanted to change filament and when I tell it to unload filament it does not turn the heater on and eventually errors out.  When it errors I get garbled characters on the front panel screen.  I flashed the correct FW but still does the same thing.  I went back to 3.8.1 and same results.  What have I done to my printer?  And how do I recover from this.

Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

RE: Firmware Problem

You might want to do a factory reset. It'll be annoying to recalibrate everything, but it's the best way to recovery from firmware conflicts.
