Enclosure Suitability Query

Hey all

My Mk3 is on order.

Before I sold my Ender 3 I ordered of the tent like Creality enclosures, reason being I was getting a lot of overnight warping due temp drops.

I held onto it as was hoping to use for the MK3.  the internal space is quoted as 445x565x685MM, although I think is it a bit larger than that.

Has anyone used one if these type of enclosures for a MK3?  Is it suitable for the job, its got flaps that can be opened to regulate heat.

Is it advisable to use an enclosure? I live in Scotland, it's known to be not the best of climates. 😀

If its a waste if time I could sell it and build one instead.

Would appreciate your advice.

Many Thanks

Tank you very much!

RE: Enclosure Suitability Query

I have a Mk3s that lives in a 2 x 2 x 2 (foot) enclosure.  At 25.4 x 12 *2  --> that would be 609++ roughly millimeters.  The ceiling is a bit shy so I have switched to low-profile spool holder arm (see my prints) and the printer is otherwise well placed within the space.  My area is not exposed to outside temps or anything - is in my workshop.  And I only close the door on PLA (doesn't really matter) - and for higher temp items since my enclosure has a staged HEPA filter with carbon to cut the volatiles.
