So Shiny!!!
Hi, I'm Sean. I used to work on CNC machines.
I try to not make mistakes, but the decision is YOURS.
Please feel free to donate to my filament/maintance fund.
Re: Drivers 2.1.5 with Slic3r PE 1.39.2
Is it possible to add an option to append the estimated time to the filename of the outputted gcode? (object_1h_35m_15s.gcode)
I think it would be a great option for when you forget and can just glance over to the lcd and watch the filename and see the time appear.
Re: Drivers 2.1.5 with Slic3r PE 1.39.2
Under the image is says "Run "Help - > Configuration Assistant" to apply the latest settings"
Do I need to run configuration assistant or just install the new version to my applications (macOS)?
Re: Drivers 2.1.5 with Slic3r PE 1.39.2
It's been a while when we talked about removing ".gcode" at the end. It's obvious that file is .gcode, so it just takes precious space.
Is it possible to do that?
Re: Drivers 2.1.5 with Slic3r PE 1.39.2
Prusa's Color-Print site doesn't seem to be able to handle any GCODE generated by Slic3r PE 1.39.2. Just sort of hangs and crashes after selecting a file, tried multiple browsers and some older GCODE and the commonality seems to be the latest version of Slic3r PE. I went ahead and dug into the details to just add the M600 command manually for something I needed, but wanted to share that it's broken.
Re: Drivers 2.1.5 with Slic3r PE 1.39.2
I really want to upgrade to the new Slic3r but as stated in the previous post the gcode generated with 1.39.2 freezes up Prusa Color website. I also tried the 1.40 Alpha release and it does the same thing, I reverted back to 1.38.6 and have no problems with Prusa Color.

This is happening for me too. Any way to confirm PRUSA is aware of this and looking into a fix? I use PRUSA Color constantly in my work, so I'm really hoping this gets resolved quickly.
Thanks.
Re: Drivers 2.1.5 with Slic3r PE 1.39.2
If I may suggest at least a temporary solution: you can use PrusaControl to do the same thing after loading an existing g-code 😉
Re: Drivers 2.1.5 with Slic3r PE 1.39.2
Anyone having trouble with odd lines being added or omitted using 1.39.2? If I slice my model in PrusaControl, I get this:
But if I slice it in 1.39.2 and then bring it in to PrusaControl to add the color change, I get this:
I didn't try to actually print it yet. Do I have a setting wrong?

Interesting idea, I will suggest it to the devs 😉

I suggest running the Assistant as it will overwrite your stored profiles with latest ones, make sure you have a copy of them, if you customised them.

I wasn't part of the discussion, can you please share details? Extensions can be hidden in the system, but I don't think you can remove them.

Hi, yes we are aware, I already asked my colleagues to check the site.

Can you please start an issue at https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaControl/issues ? Thanks
