well, that explains why the forums and site are suddenly so sluggish; it's the daily self-inflicted DDoS... 🙂

Whelp, pulled the trigger and ordered one. I had a pending unshipped order anyway, asked chat if it could be added in order to save the second shipping charge and they said no problem. 🙂

Probably so. A good idea I think. Some, like me, who have waited for two years to be able to buy these would certainly buy more 'just in case' 🙂

Yup, took all I had to only purchase one...  Then felt remorse for not getting two.  I had to give myself the lecture, "you already have one and were  just able to order a spare, what more do you REALLY need".  Those damned voices in my head.  I now abstain from checking on stock.  Good luck to all who are still trying to get one!

Still in stock this morning. I've held off, and am debating whether I really need a 2nd. Anybody jumping in and trying to hoard at this point is going to experience the same end-of-bubble experience that Beanie Baby and tulip bulb "investors" ran into. I'd hate to be the guy that paid $200+ for a texture sheet a month ago. Looks like Prusa was able to do what they said they'd do, and persevered despite the setbacks. While it was frustrating, those who were patient now have their goodies.

I am enjoying the thought that those speculators who went all-in on dubious clones are now likely stuck with a lot of stock. Expect to see the clone prices plummet soon.

Y'know, had PR had the real price of $44 on their "out of stock" page instead of $25, I'd bet the clones would have been sold for $80. 😉

I was on the fence about getting a PC sheet at all, but then I realized how often I do print PETG. Having an open unshipped order with PR just kinda sealed the deal.

I suspect the clone prices will drop.  I have found 3-4 clones that print as well as the PRUSA with one being less durable.

I ordered a second sheet as I see them as a consumable, and better to have one on hand then to not be able to order one in the future.  Seeing that Prusa appears to have a handle on these now makes me happy I didn't listen to my inner hoarder and order two spare sheets.

edit:  Yeah and I know I'm in the minority but I feel the clone sheets, at least TheKinngg sheet, is mediocre at best.

Me ordering 2 is more to get the value in having it shipped.

UHU glu stic works well on PEI sheet and can be easily washed off. My newly commissioned MK3S kit PEI sheet would not succeed in first layer adhesion despite cleaning with 99.9% Iso Propyl Alcohol. Added some Glu stick to PEI sheet, first layer adhesion joy.
