Bad adhesion after SUPER clean

Hello,

I'm just a starter, but I'm already suffering after few prints.
I have the printer for 1 month now. And until now I just made few and simple printings. On the beginning everything fine.

Now I'm suffering. I cannot do a simple print. PLA is not adhering. This is happening ->

I clean the board(room temperature) with alcohol 96%
I tried to change Z. Board temperature 50/60. PLA temperature 205/215

But I'm still stuck. Any advice?

There are many threads here about that... read up. First suggestion- get your Z-height correct. It needs to be lower judging from your picture.

Next- New PEI sheets need careful attention to cleanliness until they get "broken in". Clean that PEI with dish soap and hot water. Dry and leave it alone. 91% IPA is fine for cleaning between jobs, but start with dish soap as it will clean any residual organics a lot better than IPA. And use a new paper towel with IPA... not a cotton rag.

I don't think this is the bed at all personally. I would bet on z height being too high.

Did you calibrate your z-height as shown in the printing handbook?

Actually I searched before posting, but in my perception PEI was very clean. That's why I didn't found an answer.

I agree. Z-height is your issue.

I use Windex to clean my PEI sheet between prints. I used to have adhesion issues.

Yes. I did the Z calibration, and I tried manually decrease Z, without any success.
Tomorrow I will do new deeply testings, and report back.

Many beginners think the first layer lines shouldn't squish into the bed, when the opposite is true. None of your lines look like they are squished at all, you need to get your Z value down (larger negative number). Most people end up around -.4 to -.6ish

even though alcohol removes grease, it does not evaporate without residue, it leaves behind a very thin layer of hydrocarbons, which adds up with each application and can negatively influence bed adhesion. i would suggest you try dish soap, scrub it down with a soft sponge, rinse it with a lot of water, dry it off with a lint free cloth or microfiber, and do not touch it with your fingers after that. after that you can use after a print your alcohol again to degrease your printbed. but like i said, alcohol isnt really cleaning it.
for pla you can boost your bed temperature from 60 to 70°c for the first layer

Hi, try just the 3dlac it's perfect. The best adhésion spray and very low cost. I use it every day for my mk3 and is cleanable with hot water.

No need for expensive, special stuff.
As already mentioned here, adjust your Z-height. Your layer is too high.

OP,
Could you post a couple things? First, a picture of your PINDA probe's height relative to the cooling nozzle? And what is your Live-Z height right now? From the image your first layer is not close enough to the bed. Mine ended up being around 0.8mm or 0.9mm, but it's going to be different for everyone. It took some playing with to get the PINDA probe the right distance from the nozzle.
