An accidental artistic effect - deliberate underextrusion
Figured I'd share this interesting result. I built a skelestruder (which has 3.5x the E-steps of stock). Went to reprint a few items without realizing the startup gcode had an M92 command for the old extruder (280 instead of 980)
The end result was an almost foam-like copy of the object - pic below. It's slightly crushed from me squeezing it and fiddling with it because it has such an interesting texture.
Seems like this might have some unusual and artistic applications.
