Z axis fail

Hi all; I just finished building my Mk3S+, but I am unable to get it to pass Z axis in the wizard. I have readjusted the PINDA probe and ran the test multiple times. Of note, the machine does make a horrendous noise when moving to the very top. Can anyone offer any advice? Much appreciated! Happy Holidays!

RE: Z axis fail

i suggest you check the nut which holding the z axis, maybe you over tied the nut, also check the nut which hold the Trapezoid nut.

the  axis should move smooth.

RE: Z axis fail

ok try to reduce all the nut which related to the z axis.

also, i think you put your issue in Mini prusa forum, i suggest you put it in the MKS3 forum. there are same issue has been face with others there.

Is there a difference between the axis checks in the wizard vs the ones listed and conducted under the calibration menu seperately? I am passing the separate ones, but failing the wizard every time.

RE: Z axis fail

Open the menu Settings>MoveAxis>MoveZ and drive the extruder to the top of the unit.

The grinding noise at the top is normal.

Then run ONLY the Z calibration in the Menu Calibration>Calibrate Z

Hope this helps, worked on my first build.
