Tips on Tightening Cable Sleeve

I'm doing some upgrades to my printer after having it for about a year, during which time I switched to a cable chain mod for all of the axes. However, I've decided to go back to using the textile sleeve because the cable chain was causing some issues, but I can't seem to get it to go on right even when following the instructions. Does anybody have any tips or videos on how to get the textile sleeve go to on nicely?

RE: Tips on Tightening Cable Sleeve

It is not the easiest thing to get neat, I spent quite a while on it (The board end is a nightmare, especially with the 3mm nylon support rod)

Just get the carriage end tightened up as best you can and cable tie it on, then gently twist it going along to tighten, just be careful not to twist the cables, There is nothing I can tell you that will make it easier, its just a fiddly bugger and never looks 100% tight, there are always minor gaps in the twist.

Its important that the nylon reinforcing cable does not hit the board.  (Z connector IIRC)

Tank you very much!
