Temperature Sensor Cables Plug In

How on earth do I unplug these wires? Is there a trick? I haven't been able to get the screws to budge. I'm trying to replace my hotend and this is my last step! Thanks in advance!!!!!

I tried forcing it with pliers and couldn't get it to budge, so I bought a terminal block screwdriver and it worked like a charm!!

It is sometimes better to just cut the wires and get a new sleeves and a connector.

But if you insist on reusing this one, I've done it a few times by holding it firmly with pliers flat on a table and using a good flat screwdriver to undo the screws. This way you can push the screwdriver really hard against the screw to make sure it doesn't slip. And yeah, make sure it doesn't slip and end in your table or worst, hand. Also make sure you don't squeeze the connector too hard, or else you may break it.

Let me add my endorsement for Klein Tools.

Along with Wiha - they are my go-to providers. Sure beats wasting time with the cheap alternatives.

Such pliers are not very suitable, can even spoil, so you just need to choose the right ones. I've already tried just the standard pliers, it didn't work, then I replaced them with the OTC (4795) and it went away. Here it's better to read the manual about Safety Wire Pliers https://systemofyoursafety.com/best-safety-wire-pliers/ at once, in order not to get in trouble and do everything correctly about this case just the same. I managed to find it and did not have to use some strange tools. Good luck.

Hi Noah,

Just Checking, your title says Temperature Sensor, and you show the Heater cable!

Have you got the correct cable in mind?
