Support layer too strong

One issue I have with PrusaControl is that it generates support that is really hard to remove from 3D printed object and all the times there is some left that I just can't remove. Any idea if I can adjust this how strong the support is for prints?

Or what software should I use to adjust generated support strength or density.
Thank you!

PrusaControl will get you results quickly, but you likely want to use another slicer for more control. I've settled on using Slic3rPE for most of my needs as Prusa is investing significant development effort into it to ensure it works well with their printers. Their development cycle seems to be picking up as well.

In Slic3rPE, you can go into Print Settings->Support material->Options for support material and raft to tweak your settings. I've adjusted Contact Z distance to 0.25mm for most of my prints, and it falls away nicely. I've also enabled Interface loops, and am using 2 0.2mm Interface layers. I've enabled Don't support bridges. Play around with these settings and you should be able to find something that works.

If you want the ultimate control, Cura has a lot of options for support. You can set different top and bottom distances and other features that might be well suited if you're doing detailed figures or models.

For the easiest-to-use custom supports, you're most likely looking at Simplify 3D. Unfortunately, it's got a $150 price tag to go with it. I'm not crazy about the interface or how cumbersome it is to configure speeds.
