I had a very similar noise. For me, I finally narrowed it down to the LCD screen rattling in the housing during Y axis movements. Tightening the screws holding down the LCD panel in the housing helped for me. You can test this by reaching behind the LCD console and pinching the LCD screen against the housing to see if the noise goings away while printing.

I’ve had the printer for 3 weeks and just started rattling, I put pressure on the back of lcd, no rattle ! You have confirmed this thanks.

RE: Rattling sound

fresh install, perfect assembly is maybe the problem.

its the Y axis here. When i hold it(following the movement but enough tension to remove any play)while printing its gone.

you can also press "firm" on your printbed to stop the rattle.

iam 110% sure theres nothing lose. The prints itself are outstanding good.

This is very late, but I built mine yesterday (MK3S+) and I had the same issue, I tightened the part cooling fan and it seemed to fix the issue entirely! 😉

Happy Printing!

RE: Rattling sound

I've got a pretty crude workaround (not a solution) to my particular Y axis bed rattle. The part I've uploaded to Printables is literally a weight added to one corner of the bed which, for me, dampens most of the vibration. If applying weight to one corner of your bed dampens the rattle sound, then this might be an avenue for you to test with. Tossing this into a few forum posts so future people having the same issue might find it useful.
