Problem printing PETG parts for MK2S+ upgrade
I'm having a heck of a time printing the extruder parts for the latest MK3 upgrade using a textured build plate and the black PETG from the . Usually the print 'crashes' after printing the 3rd layer due to excessive material around the edges of the print.
Here is my first layer while printing a 75% speed. Is this bad filament? Or incorrect extruder calibration?
Any suggestions welcomed.

Decrease live Z. Your head is too close to the build plate. Start with a glob free nozzle, then increase (add positive) live Z 20 at a time until you aren't building up goo on the nozzle (use a flash light)
