Prints not sticking o right front side no matter what

Heya so I have recently gotten a MMU2 for my Prusa Mk3s and for some reason the right side always starts to either peel off or just dosnt stick when it reaches that specific corner of the print bed and nothing I have tried have not really helped me at all to fixing the print the issue always starts a few layers in but never at the same layer I also have an issue where when the printer is starting it greats a blob of fillament before it starts going on the starting line any ideas or suggestions to fixing any of these issues will be greatly appriciated

how often do you clean the plate?  have you tried flipping the plate over and see if the same issue happens on that side?  I've seen the blob too,  it's usually when the mmu2s loads the filament to the nozzle before it's up to temp.

@ssill2

I clean the plate whenever it stops sticking and flipping the plate over shows the same issue and even when the printer is up to temp it will still create the blob it does it when ever it loads the fillament

what are you cleaning it with.  If I just want to reset things I use dawn platinum dish soap and a dish sponge and give it a good scrub.   and then I rinse and dry it.   When between prints it's just 99% isopropyl alcohol.  before I started doing that I had a bugger of a time getting anything to stick to the textured sheet.  Once I got my zOffset dialed in for the textured sheet and I started cleaning it as described it works great in particular for TPU and PETG

Another point to consider is that the Prusa textured sheet is known to have issues with PLA not sticking. The other point is to NEVER use a dish sponge for washing the sheets. Using fresh new paper towels ensures you aren't loading the sheet with last night's meal residue (seems obvious, but you wouldn't be the first). Same for drying: fresh paper towels ensure you aren't coating the sheet with fabric softener. And after a good soap and water wash, no alcohol is ever needed. Of course, once in a blue moon a filament leaves residue you can see, and sometime alcohol or even acetone is the only way to remove it. But I almost always follow with soap and water because alcohol and acetone are solvents, and can leave a microscopic film that can hamper adhesion.

@tim-2 @ssill2

I Have tried multiple times with unoerfumed dishsoap and giving it around 5 minute scrup on each side in the warmest water I could handle Yet I still dont see any other improvements But my first layer has started looking like this;

I generally don't print PLA on the textured sheet, Only TPU and PETG.  One thing to consider too, and I discovered this recently, printing a big rectangle like that is HARD.  I had a similar sort of print in clear PETG on the smooth pei sheet and it actually pulled the sheet corners up off the bed.  I was only using some glue stick on the plate too.  If you've not noticed before, the textured plate is meant to actually dislodge the model as the plate cools off after the print.  Have you tried you print on a smooth sheet?  The smooth sheet is really the ideal surface for PLA I believe.

I sadly dont own a flat one anymore as my old one is worn and damaged beyond use (first time trying to print was rough) So all I have is the textured but even the smaller print and petg prints dosnt work either aswell as the small blob being the reason why testing is so hard since it causes a bunch of printing errors head on

if you're getting blobs with petg you're likely just touch too low on your zOffset.  Hopefully someone with some more experience might have some ideas.  I definitely had issues with textured plate at first.

@marco3712

Your first layer Z is a little too low.  Back off until the ripple *just* goes.

When you are too low there is not enough room for the filament to spread out between adjacent layers and the excess builds up, usually on the nozzle, until it has room to drop off...

Re bad corner: I agree with @ssill2, it is most likely to be a grease patch...

... but have you enabled 7x7 mesh bed levelling via the lcd?

Cheerio,

A couple assumptions: that last image of the corner is without anything applied to the sheet (no glues or other release agents); it is PLA or PETG; using standard print profiles from Prusa.

Bubbles on the first layer is - in my experience - 99.9% always cause by contamination. There are weird cases of overextrusion that can cause the first layer to bubble, and the small ridges in the diagonal strokes shows a minor overextrusion, but your print doesn't have that look of just too much flow.

If PETG isn't sticking, and shows those same bubbles everywhere, try a few washes using only fresh paper towels to scrub and dry with. After a wash - dry the sheet on the printer by warming the bed up to 100C for 15 minutes to drive out any moisture that gets into the texture.

I might even try an acetone scrub and rinse to ensure all oils are removed.  If that fails, I'd be calling Prusa (via CHAT) and asking for help.  PETG - most brands - should stick like superglue.

Having the same issue - the reason is bed heating not really properly working in the right front corner. When you measure it with the laser thermometer it has temperature more than twice lower than everywhere else. Means - don't use maximal theoretical print area. Hopefully on the XL this will get better...

The first place to check when the bed heats unevenly is the workspace.  Look for air movements; they need not be obvious drafts, a temporary screen might help larger prints.  In extremes an enclosure may be needed but for PLA & PETG they can usually be avoided.

A friend had a similar problem and realized his air conditioning vent was blowing onto one side of the surface which was cooling things too quickly.
