Printer reboots midprint, LCD garbled

Got my MK3S this week. Wizard setup worked fine and tried my first print from the SD card (gears).

Print started without problems, but then LCD gets garbled (random characters, blank screen, back to normal, etc.) and printer suddenly stops after a few layers with a beep, then resumes with "recovering print". Prints a minute or so, then the same errors again and again with shorter print times each time.

There's no additional error message. I dismounted the LCD panel, replaced the ribbon cables (with shorter ones from my old printer) and directly connected it to the Einsy, but the problem persists. Is this even related to the LCD panel or should I check elsewhere?

If a specific software program prints garbled text, there might be a problem with that software program. Try to print from a different software program. ... Obtain the latest software program updates, and then restart the computer. Try again to print.

"Fail stats -> last print" always shows "Power Failure". I've checked the power cables from the heatbed, the PSU and the Einsy. They are correctly wired and tightly bolted.

Unplugged the printer for a while, plugged it back in again and suddenly prints since then without a problem. No idea what happened.
