I left the printer for hours ,and it still showing the above msg.

done a factory reset, went through with the calibration.

when the wizard asks for the media type to preheat the hotend

I selected PLA, the temp reading went to 188 then stopped instead of 215.

then I get the message mentioned above.

I left it for hours but still no progress.

Please help, I m stuck!

Yours is an unusual problem. There are two things to try before contacting Prusa Support.

Check the connections at both ends of the hotend and heater cables, make sure they are correctly inserted, unplug them and fully reinsert.

And do the same with the thermister cables.

If that doesn't work you need to contact Prusa Support, the best method is to log into your account, go to the shop and open a live chat.

This is not support, it's a place where users help each other with minor issues, swap tips and generally hang with like minded people, we'd love to have you join in once you're up and running.

I now have the same problem.

machine PRUSA i3 mk3s

Firmware  3.11.0

I have comfirmed following component work correct

on [menu]->[Support]->[Temperatures]

nozzle heater (by activating it the nozzle temp. actually became hot )

nozzle temp sensor ( it reads increased as nozzle temp. actually rised )

So I don't think the cause of this is component.

Do you have any solution?

mine turned out to be a bad board,  which Prusa kindly replaced under the warranty

I could finally address this issue. In my case, the cause was insufficient heat conduction at hot end since I had missed applying silicone grease on the temp. sensor and the heater.

So if anyone has the same symptom and your prusa doesn't rise heat up well ( such as 215 deg ) , consider applying the grease.
