RE: outside/inside layers loose

the reason I added the new extruder and hotend was because the original was completely broken so no option to go back

Owww.  Unfortunately, not even GCODE is going to be portable to compare.  The only assumption you can make I think is that if you stick with slicer defaults, you can rule out the slicer.  FOr your new extruder and gears, is any custom GCODE required in each print?

maybe I can try a extrusion multiplier of 0.45/0.29 = 1.55??

Your extruder needs calibration. It is very likely you have the wrong firmware installed; code that doesn't take into account the 3:1 gear reduction of your Bondtech extruder filament drive. Call Bondtech and get them to help you figure this out.

Did you set your esteps to 890 and save it to the printers eeprom ?  This under extrusion is the classic symptom of not doing that.

As Neophyl said.

Simply changing the flow fixes a single data point, the wall thickness in that test, but not all conditions that matter. Things like retraction, jerk, acceleration; they all play off the number of steps it takes to move the filament N millimeters. And that requires a fix down in the firmware (or cal constants as Neo mentioned). That's why a call to Bondtech might save you some headaches.

ok, problem solved, needed to do a factory reset with all data destroyed, I failed the last with my previous reset I guess

(got in contact with Bondtech about this)
