Does that initial skirt appear something like a dotted line in the long straight sections?

When it sticks neither it's perfectly straight and normal, if it doesn't stick a spaghetti monster?

Hmmm, funny but the textured sheet actually is the solution for a lot of other issues.

Although, a lot of people do report issues when using it for PLA. I use it successfully for PETG and TPU prints. So in general for materials that would stick too well to the smooth sheet.

But, although it seems totally boring and annoying, almost all adhesion issues do come down to the usual two suspects:

- oily residue on the sheet -> scrub it again and use HOT water

- z being too high, it takes some time and again is boring but once you get it right you will be surprised, so head over to the other thread and print and post your squares...

Happy printing as Josef would say

@h-waibel

Same experience.  It depends on the filament and age of the bed.

I also found the textured sheet wouldn't work for me from new.  This worked like a charm for me, now I can use both sheets without issue.

1 - go buy a mr clean magic eraser

2 - scrub the sheet until the shine dulls

3 - quick wipe with IPA gets rid of the fibers from magic eraser

4 - z adjust

5 - happy printing
