My 1st Benchy

Hello,

I would like to have your feedback on my very first 3D print model after I have assembled my first 3D printer - MK3S kit. It was printed straight from kit's SD card.

From my very basic knowledge as a beginner in 3D printing I believe overall it looks good, but there some small imperfections that I noticed (marked with red circle). What could possibly went wrong and what can I do to improve?
Any guidelines are more than welcome.
Thanks.

Philip

It looks fairly good for a first print.  There's some stringing in there, but not too bad.

Your circled areas are the close-to-horizontal parts which are the most difficult to print.  What you might do is print one of those temperature and bridging towers and see what temperature gives the best bridging results for your printer and filament.

@jsw

Thanks for the advice!

I will play with the temperature and see what will be best for my printer.

Cheers,

Philip

From the bottom view (first layer) I can see that you need to lower the Z-level a bit. The first layer should be much denser without gaps.
