How can i improve prints?

Hi, recently i built mk3s+ from kit, tried to print some things, these are roughly good, but on benchmark models i can spot some imperfections like little ghosting and stringing. Can somebody give me a hint what i can do to get better quality printings?

Yes; stop printing torture tests and get some experience with practical printing.

I would rate those prints as good enough for the first month.

Every user builds their printer slightly differently so during the first few weeks of use the printer will run-in and settle its parts together; then you will have to go over the basic maintenance checks, lubricate and recalibrate. Even if you got everything dialled in perfectly today, it would all need re-doing.

Better to settle, temporarily, for a basic working printer and get some useful printing done, make your early mistakes, establish a routine and generally get used to the process. Then when you do your one month service you can take extra care knowing the new settings on your now stable printer are likely to last for several months.

Cheerio,

To add to what Diem said, every print is different and requires different settings and types of filament, what you do to print PLA won't necessarily be what you do to print the same model in PETG and so on. the features of each model will be different and require different techniques. As Diem suggests, get out there, AND START PRINTING THINGS YOU ENJOY, and deal with the problems that each those things will entail one by one, this is how you will learn to improve your prints.

also come here and ask for help, we are a very talented bunch, and normally very willing to help.

Good Luck
