Heating Bed error

Dear all,

When i was printing ABS in my lack enclosure, i have received a heating bed error. I have printed multiple times in the enclosure without any problems. Because I was worried, I began to check everything the prusa website recommended. The thermistor was acting fine (hair blower next to thermistor and the measured temperature increased quickly) and all electrical connections were OK.

I tested my heating bed from a temperature of 30°C to 100°C and it was finished after 6 minutes. I think this is still OK as I compared it to other  heating times on the internet.

I again started my print and got extra information why the error came before. During the first layer, my fan is turned off and printing bed is on 100°C. After the third layer, the fan turns on (fan speed on 30%) and desired bed temperature is increasing to 110°C. Only my 3D printer is not getting its bed temperature higher than 108°C and eventually, the errors pops on because heating takes to long.

Normally I print ABS on lower bed temperatures (80°C) but I wanted to try the initial settings of prusa slicer for ABS printing. My question is: Should I be worried for my printer? Is there something wrong/malfunction with the heating part or has anyone else similar errors during printing ABS?

Thanks for all input! Best wishes for 2020.

Kind regards,

Brent
