Grinding printing

My prusa mk3, still rattling over the prints like here in the video:

Software:
Frimware update 3.7.0
Factory Reset
Self test

This is all good and worked well.

Replace hardware:
Complete new extruder axis
2x complete new hotend
3x nozzle change
2x Z-axis motor

Have you guys maybe a solution for this?

Re: Grinding printing

Are you talking about the second infill pass - where the nozzle it hitting the first pass extrusions?

Re: Grinding printing

Try a gyroid infill and see how the sound compares.

Normal people believe that if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Engineers believe that if it ain’t broke, it doesn’t have enough features yet.

Good idea, though I'd use rectilinear over the gyroid to compare sounds. Gyroid requires a lot of XY motor power and is noisy by itself.

Re: Grinding printing

i had the same a long time ago.

Different infill helps but not the solution.

Check every bold on the printer, especially the extruder.(do this every 2 months).
The extruder was wobbly on mine, do up and down on the extruder, look if it is not to loose.
Check the whole printer if it is wobble or loose things.

Clean the rods, and put oil on the rods, see forum how and what oil to use, this very important.(do this every 2 weeks if you print a lot).(maintenance is important).
Do a whole calibration(like your printer is new),
do a z calibration,

Z-layer adjust, do this very good is very important.

Firmware and slic3r, keep using the ones that are given at the same time, so do not use a newer slc3r on a older firmware.

Extrusion multiplier to high?
To hot printing, try lower temperature,
lower speed.
Last 2 should not be needed.
