First layer

Trying to get the first layer right.

I thought it looked ok. I didn’t have a tool to measure it.

that square does have one straight side and one janky side.

Then I noticed a shift while making circles. There is a shift on the low left and upper right.

I just cancelled the print to focus on the shift. If I let it keep going, some of the gears end up connected

I double checked the xyz but it just reports ok.

I might have solved this. I started going over the x/y movements very carefully and realized that the x axis motor gear was not completely tight.

This caused the small shift while moving diagonally.

@wagenman

Thank you for information. The problem occurs frequently and is often discussed.
