First boot blanc screen

Hi everyone, I've just finished assembling my i3 mk3s and it doesn't boot correctly.

In the first boot I get

"original prusa i3

Prusa research"

"sorting files"

and the the original prusa i3 message again in an endless loop.

If I try to turn it on without SD card after the

"original prusa i3

Prusa research" message I can hear a click and a blanc screen without possibility to select the language.

I checked every connection to the motherboard, the led on the power supply is green and everything seems connected correctly, I've unplugged and replugged  everything.

I've tryed to do a full reset and I can navigate the reset menu without any problem but reset have not helped me solve this issue.

Does anyone have any suggestion?

Thank you 🙂

I'm seeing the same issue. Have you had any luck with getting this corrected?

RE: First boot blanc screen

Hi,

Fortunately I've solved this issue by reinstalling the firmware of the Machine.

If you have the same problem as the one I've described you can follow the steps in this link to update your firmware.

Hope this helps

RE: First boot blanc screen

I think I'm running into a similar issue. I checked all connections, which were correct, but once the printer starts scanning files, it stops and goes back to the initial calibration message on the LCD screen. I tried to install the firmware with my computer but when I bring up the 'Firmware Flasher' it doesn't show anything in the 'Serial Port' after I selected the file in through browse in 'Firmware Image'. I've turned the printer off/on and the printer is unrecognizable on my laptop. Does anyone have any knowledge of what I should do to get connection between my serial port and the printer? I'm trying to solve it as we speak, but any help would be much appreciated, thank you.
