Extruder body issue when assembling

Hi,

While assembling my new Prusa i3 MK3S kit, I skipped adding the extruder cover (on step 14 of E-axis assembly) and I have screwed one of the M3x40 too much that now M3n nut is completely stuck in the extruder body because while trying to unscrew, the nut rounded up the home inside the body and turns freely at the moment. I had to remove some part of the body with the knife to get to the stuck but still no luck. The only option that seems feasible is to break the extruder body and use a new one. Would it be fine to print it with PLA with some other printer to get the assembly completed and print a PETG one once the printer is up and running?

A long time ago, Jo Prusa said that you can print all of the parts of the prusa in PLA, except the Fan Shroud...

things have moved on, and people are using ever more exotic filaments,

As a temporary solution, PLA Should work. but print a new PETG set ASAP afterwards.

Alternatively, Prusa will sell you individual parts.  (Use the eShop, and Log in to your user account)

and

Chris Foss, will sell you parts on Etsy

Thanks for your reply! I used PLA body to print a PETG body and now it works like a charm!
