Does this look like a first layer issue?

Hello,

I'm havin some issues with my first layers maybe,

the first picture shows my issue, the remaining 2 pictures is from the first layer test I did after.

I think the first layer calibration looks fine, i also tried to lower the print speed/temp, cleaning the bed and change flow.

I'm out of ideas, so I hope someone here can be of assistance.

The level looks reasonable but the bed is dirty.

Clean the sheet with dishwashing detergent (Dawn/Fairy) and plenty of HOT water, rinse well and dry with a fresh paper towel. Handle by the edges only.

Cheerio,

I dont get it

Hmm I did clean it earlier with isopropyl alcohol, but being open minded I cleaned it with soap like you said. Now it seems to print fine...

I really don't understand how the wierd oozing that looked like it over extruded could be related to a dirty bed?

But it seems ok now, will know in 6 hours 😀

Thank you.

If it's not adhering properly some filament can get picked up by the nozzle and redeposited elsewhere.

Isopropyl alcohol is fine for maintaining an already clean sheet but not for removing gunk and fingerprints.

Cheerio,
