Cannot see the PTEF tube after replacement of the heat break and nozzle

Hi, I am replacing the heat break and nozzle. In Step 26 of :

https://help.prusa3d.com/en/guide/how-to-replace-a-heatbreak-heatsink-heaterblock-mk3s-mk3s-mk2-5s-mmu2s_16104/

In the last step with a purple dot, it says "Using the other hand pull the collet out and only then release the tube!!". When I put it back to the extruder, is the Collet supposed to be still out like the 3rd photo in Step 26? i.e. Is there supposed to still be a gap between the Collet and the Heatsink after the hotend is put back to the extruder?

After I put everything in, I opened the idler door but I could not see the PTFE tube. In Step 26, it asks us to push the tube all the way in until we could not push further down into the heatsink. Do I need to worry about it? I think in the past, I could see a bit of it when I opened the door but not this time. I can still manually feed in the filament though. Shall I just start using the printer or take the extruder apart and put the PTEF tube a bit out?

After heatsink is assembled into housing, it's impossible to see PTFE tube. The hole is only big enough for filament to go trough.

Thanks. Perhaps my memory is wrong.
