Calibration issues after i3S+upgrade

Hello,

I bought my printer as a MK3 i3 kit, assembled it myself and got it printing with no problem.

Then I upgraded it to the MK3S myself, and got it printing no problem.

Now I've upgraded it to the MK3S+, and I have problems.

To start with, the X-axis length test said it was the wrong length, and the bed would make crashing noises when I tried the XYZ/SuperPINDA calibration (where you hold the paper under he nozzle).  First I verified I had the right firmware on there (3S not 3), and I did, so I did more troubleshooting and decided to reload the firmware anyway, just to be 110% sure it was 3S and not 3. Now I know that the firmware is the right version (3.9.3-3556 for the 3S/3S+).  So I do more troubleshooting, more calibration attempts, always getting failures.

I read in the knowledge base to do a full factory reset, so I do that, and start the calibration.  The X-axis is now apparently the correct length, because that works, but the Y-Axis/bed says to check the Y-axis length.

Here's a YouTube video showing what happens.

I'd appreciate any help anyone can give.

Thanks

Rick

As Adam Savage is known to say, "There's your problem!"

I have no idea how that magnet managed to make it there, but having a magnet there would cause the Y-axis to appear shorter!

@rickseiden

Looks like one of the bed magnets.

I think it was one of the filament sensor magnets.  I must have dropped it and it got attached under there. Or maybe it was on my work surface when I flipped the printer on its side to upgrade the u bolts to the brackets.
