Kann man PLA und Flex kombinieren?

Hallo,

Vielen Dank

Hallo,

You should be able to select the layer where you want to change filaments, and choose
'Add Custom Gcode'

then add the following Gcode commands

G1 X240 ; Move extruder off model during temperature change

M104 S240 ; set extruder temp to Flex Temp(240C), no need to change bed temp.

M109 S240 ; wait for extruder temp (This command Must match M104 temperature) to reach desired temperature for Flex

M600 ; execute filament change process

When you slice the model, the slicer should add a section like this, in the Gcode

and when you rum the Gcode, your printer should print the PLA Section, then move the extruder to a safe place (I have guessed that the right hand side of the X axis will be safe...  change the X value if this is incorrect)

the printer should then change the extruder temperature and wait for the temperature to be achieved (NOTE the programmed temperature MUST be the same as the temperature that you instruct the printer to wait for, or you will get unexpected results)

Once the printer achieves  the new temperature, it should activate the normal M600 filament change process, which is

Move the extruder to the right of the Build plate, and raise it, a little above model height...
sound the beeper and Wait for you to press the LCD Control knob, to eject the old PLA Filament
It will then ask you to confirm that the old filament has ejected, (Press the knob again...)
then you insert the new filament and press the knob again to load the new filament.

the printer will hopefully load the new filament and after expelling some mixed filament, (DO NOT REMOVE THE WASTE FILAMENT)
the printer will ask if the colour is clear...
Assuming the colour is clear (assuming in this case that the Flex Filament has loaded correctly) press the LCD Control to continue.
DO NOT REMOVE the waste, Simply hold onto it...
as the extruder moves back to the print, it will expel another length of waste filament, which will remain attached to the waste you are holding, and the moving extruder will cause ALL of the waste to detach from the nozzle, preventing unsightly blemishes on your model
the print should now continue to the end, successfully.

regards Joan

Hallo,

ENTFERNEN SIE DEN Abfall NICHT, halten Sie ihn einfach fest ...

@joantabb
I guess you can also tell me the G-code to reduce the speeds for the flex material to 50% of the PLA speed?

Vielen Dank!!!!!
