Printer reboots on preheating

I have an MK2.5S and the printer has been rebooting upon preheating for any filament. Upon inspecting the Rambo board, I found that the connector from the PSU to the board to the Bed-in was burnt. Burnt connector

Even the female end on the PSU was crisped out. I replaced the above connector in the image with a new one and on heating the bed, the connector still heats up.

What might be the issue for the heating up and would replacing the female end on the Rambo or soldering the leads from PSU to the Rambo solve the heating?

If the connector gets warm, means it does have a bad contact. I would recommend to solder cable+XT60 connector at the back of the board and leave the original connector in place. The original connectors are prone for this failure and it's just a matter of time until you're facing same issue again.
