Print head randomly moves to bed egde then back again and continues to print
Hello,
During prints, the head moves normally, then at random, maybe once every 3 layers the head moves to the edge of the bed then back and carries on printing, but this causes problems with thin walled prints and leaves visible marks. I have tried 2 different SD cards and have re-sliced the models many times. I have been printing commercially with the machine for 3 years and have done over 30km of filament without a hitch until now. I have re flashed the firmware, and used different versions of the slicer. On a Gcode viewer there are no rogue movements in the gcode.
Any ideas anyone.

Check your error stats; this sounds like minor crashes. Possibly due to worn, clogged, or damaged; belts, drive pulleys and idlers.
