Mk2.5s X axis layer shifts

Hi guys, after a few years and a couple of upgrades later, I am having issues with my x axis that I can’t seem to fix. The printer was working nonstop printing out COVID supplies for 3 months.

I am getting x axis shifts. At first the x axis stopped moving altogether and had mayor layer shifts. I made sure every5hing was tightened around the x axis motor but no go.

So far I have replaced the x axis motor, the x axis idler, the belt and idler, and the x and z axis bearings.

right now its at least moving, but I am getting intermittent layer shifts around the x axis that make the printer spit out spaghetti.

what else should I check? I have gone over the prusa troubleshooting for layer shifts axis but no go.

RE: Mk2.5s X axis layer shifts

Sorry to hijack a post, but I too am getting the same issue, though its on my Y and X axis, after 4 years of use I cant seem to fix the issue without slowing everything way down (30mm/s on just about everything), belts have been replaced and tightened, pulleys have been replaced as well. I have not replaced any motor outside of the right Z axis for another issue which did not resolve that.

Maybe oiling the bearings for the X axis? I will try that on mine and see if it does any better.

Prusa i3 MK 2.5S, Ender 5 Plus, Monoprice Mini Delta.

Hijacking this from both of you, but since it`s no rush in answers i hope it`s okay.
upgraded my mk2s to 2.5s, bear upgrade, Bondtech extruder and also new rods and bearings from misumi. Now i get layer shifts on x-axis.
Same hight every time. Did you guys solve it?
