Extruder issues

Hi everyone, I'm running into some extruder issues. I have a Mk2.5s. This all started after I did a cold pull with PLA because I was noticing some underextrusion and a click from the extruder here and there from print to print. This is a quick rundown of what I am seeing and then What I have tried to do to resolve the issue.

1. Load filament. works fine. filament extrudes out of the nozzle fine, sometimes extruded filament comes out slightly angled.

2. start up print

3. After the printer does its bed leveling and starts to do the initial wipe at the bottom of the bed, the extruder makes a few clicking noises like its clogged.

4. Printer started first layer and it prints fine. Once it starts the second layer, no more filament comes out.

5. When I unload the filament, I do see that the gears that pull the filament down kinda chew into the filament because the filament wont go down anymore.

Things I've tried:

1. Multiple cold pulls using Nylon

2. Removed nozzle from body and cleaned it. Cleared and confirmed that there is no filament stuck in the nylon tube.

3. Used a different nozzle with the same results.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
