I made the 2.5A extruder using SLA resin materials.
I made a video about how I did the upgrade from 2.5 to 2.5S using SLA resin parts. It worked!
I also cover the heat tolerance of resin vs FDM filaments.

Great post. I imagined that this would be possible but haven't seen much about the concept. I've updated an MK3S+ to use the Bondtech extruder and I am thinking of going with a high temp transparent-like resin to try the Bondtech hardware out on for giggles. I'll make a mental note about the filament sensor but its for the MMU2S so I'll be able to print a separate piece.
