Self Calibration

I'm just getting around to getting this up and running. My life has been, well...lively, since purchasing it.

So, my problem is with self calibration. It won't do it.

The bed moves back further than the nozzle. So, when the nozzle goes down to the bed, it completely misses and goes straight to the stops, where it begins to complain and, ultimately, fails.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Re: Self Calibration

I would be happy to put a video in the thread, when I can get it off my phone and on somewhere decent. LOL

Re: Self Calibration

It looks like you assembled the printer incorrectly. The longer Y-Axis section of the screws should be on the front of the printer, not the back.

Re: Self Calibration

Good catch Tim. I completely missed that when examining the picture.

Re: Self Calibration

Tim caught what I missed.

I've moved a bunch of things around this morning and things seem to be working now.

I'm, at least, past the self calibration test. Now, on to the next thing.....

There's always something. 🙂

Thanks,
