Y Belt issue
Hi, we love our Prusai3MK2 very much and printed many interesting items.
Recently, during 9+h print, we experienced some Y Belt problems.
When we tried to move printing bed manually we felt some sort of lag on one and the same point. The belt is clean, we cannot see where from that issue coming.
How could we repair/adjust this problem?

hi - that print looks like it has been skipping teeth on the belt
have you checked the tightness of all of the screws on the motor
along with the gear for the belt.
if you flick the belt does it make a sound or does it just flop? do you see the belt vibrating when you are running it?
what i am working on is a method of measuring belt tension with a set of suitcase scales, just pull enough to move the belt 1/64" per inch of length and see what tension you get. with the prusa you are looking at about 1/4" ( for a 15" belt between pulleys)
i am running mine at about 1kg
the other thing it might be is the electtronics getting hot as it happened after a time period
have you got a fan over the electronics?

I recently had this happen on my older Mk2 that has way more mileage on it than my Mk2S. In my case, it was the motor gear that had come loose and created slop in the belt, but it was somewhat sporadic, since it was still held in there and moved along the motor shaft back and forth. A quick tightening of the motor gear and it's been printing reliably for a couple weeks now.

We think we fixed it temporarily and printed 5+ small prints with success so far. We moved a belt little bit by finger away from the motor gear border.
