Troubles Disassembling Hot End

I recently had a print fail very badly and ended up covering my hot end. After cleaning it up, I ended up breaking the wires that went to the heat probe. This lead me to buying replacement parts for several things (heat probe, nozzles, the metal part that heats up, etc).

When I went to take the hot end apart, I was not able to actually remove or unscrew anything due to the PLA or what was used when it was originally assembled.

Have you ever run into something like this? Have any ideas on what I could do to disassemble it?

I am able to turn on the printer and heat the head if I have to clean off the block at all. Able to put another heat probe on it to keep it close to the correct temperature for cleaning purposes.

Thanks

[Edit]
Forgot to add that I plan on replacing the block on the end, as well as the nozzle. Trying to save the heat sync and the part that connects it to the block

Just an idea. Put it in two zip lock backs and let it sit in boiling hot water for a minute to get all the filament soft so it can be cleaned off.

I might give that a try. I read that Acetate can soften it up a bit as well, might give that a try.
